The board of directors of Satyam has appointed Kiran Karnik, former NASSCOM chairman as the chairman of the Satyam board.
On January 9, 2009, two days after confession by Ramalinga Raju( founder of Satyam), Government has dissolved the original board of Satyam.
The government initially appointed a three member board with Mr. Kiran Karnik, HDFC chairman Mr. Deepak Parekh and former Securities Appellate Tribunal chief C Achuthan as members of Satyam Board.
