Last Week: Indian Stock Market entered last week losing streak. Interim budget which was presented on Monday, February 16, 2009, Last week gave a negative impact to Indian Stock Market which continued throughout the week. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) lost 8.2% during last week trading sessions. BSE was the worst performer amongst its Asian peers. The other stock market performed as Singapore (-6.5%), Hong Kong (-6.3%), Japan (-4.7%) and China (-2.6%). Chinese Markets also lost 2.6% but relatively that was best performance in Asian region.
As per Global market is concerned, Germany was worst performer with a loss of 9% for the last week. Dow Jones also lost 6.2% during the week.
