India’s Fourth largest software company, Satyam Computers appointed new CEO today on Thursday, February 05, 2009. The Board announced that it has appointed Mr. A.S. Murthy as new CEO of the company. Prior to this role Mr. A.S. Murthy was working as Global Business Head of Satyam.
Board also declared Mr. Homi Khusrokhan and Mr. Partho Datta as special advisors for Satyam computers.
Mr. Mohandas Pai of Infosys also appreciated the decision taken by board of Satyam computers as having an insider as CEO is a good decision as he doesn’t have to go through learning curve.
