Apple Introduces Three New iPhones And An iWatch

Apple has introduced three new smartphones; iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR at a grand event which took place at the ‘Gather Round’ event held at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California.

Apple’s new iPhone XS, pronounced “ten S,” has a 5.8-inch (14.7-cm) screen, and starts at $999 (Rs 99,900 in India). The XS Max, the largest iPhone to date and one of the biggest on the market, has a 6.5-inch (16.5-cm) screen and starts at $1,099 (Rs 109,900 in India). The devices will go on sale starting from September 30 in India.

iPhone XS specifications are a 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina HD display, powered by first 7-nanometer chip ever in a smartphone, the six-core A12 Bionic chip. iPhone XS Max specifications are same specs as iPhone XS apart from a larger 6.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 2688*1242p.

iPhone XR is the cheapest among the three and comes with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD LCD display, boast a 3GB RAM and comes in three storage variants 64GB/128GB/256GB.

In addition to the new iPhones, Apple also launched Apple Watch Series 4 along with iOS 12 and watchOS 4 and macOS Mojave. While Apple iOS 12 and watchOS 4 will arrive on September 17, macOS Mojave will be available for download starting September 24.
