The US health regulator has provided its final approval to Jubilant Life Sciences for olmesartan medoxomil tablets that are used in treating of hypertension.
The company has said in a BSE filing that it has received abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) final approval for olmesartan medoxomil tablets – 5 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg.
The products that has been approved is the generic version of Benicar of Daiichi Sankyo that is used in treating hypertension.
