NTPC posted a marginal fall in the net profit at Rs.2,444.80 crore . Last year in the same quarter it had reported a net profit of Rs.2,469.47 crore.
Revenue for operations rose to Rs.19,698.75 crore for the quarter, compared with Rs.19,397.94 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Operating income remained flat at Rs.5,440 crore, while margins came down marginally to 27.6% from 27.8% in the corresponding quarter previous year.
