RNT Capital Advisors which is Ratan Tata’s venture fund and US hedge fund Falcon Edge have invested Rs 670 crore (USD100 million) in Ola.
According to the filings, RNT Capital has invested about Rs 267.9 crore whereas Falcon Edge which is an existing investor in the company has further invested Rs 402 crore.
Ola has issued 4.96 lakh shares to the two investors at Rs 13,521 each which is higher than the Rs 12,905 per share at which it allotted a stake to SoftBank in November for raising Rs 1,675 crore.
