PM Modi: Belief in Democracy, Freedom Strengthens India-Luxembourg Partnership

PM Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the belief in democracy, rule of law and freedom strengthens the relation and partnership between India and Luxembourg.
PM Modi in India-Luxembourg summit via video conferencing said, “India-Luxembourg’s partnership amid the COVID-19 pandemic can be beneficial for the recovery of both the countries. Our bilateral belief in democracy, rule of law and freedom strengthens our relation and partnership.”
Luxembourg PM Xavier Bettel welcomed PM Modi with folded hands and greeted him as “Hello my friend”. PM Bettel said, “On the behalf of 130 crore Indians, I send my condolences to the people who died of COVID-19 in Luxembourg.” He also congratulated PM Modi for his efficient way of dealing with Covid-19 pandemic. 
PM Modi said that this year, the summit is very important as this is the first stand-alone summit since past two decades. He also welcomed Luxembourg’s decision for joining International Solar Alliance and urged to join Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI).
Further, PM Modi said both the India and Luxembourg have immense potential for increasing trade partnerships and he is happy that ISRO had recently launched four satellites of Luxembourgh. He also hopes to welcome Henri, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg soon in India.
