Punj Lloyd Loss Increases To Rs. 216 Crores In The June-end Quarter

Punj Lloyd which is a diversified international EPC (enterprise, procurement, and construction) who provide services in energy, infrastructure and defense sectors reported their first quarterly financial report for the June-end quarter of the current fiscal year with a net loss of Rs. 216 crores.

The company encountered a net loss of Rs. 194.3 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. The total expenses of the company rose 5.3% to Rs.1029 crores during the quarter under review from Rs. 977 crores incurred during the previous year June-end quarter.

The only time period within the last five consecutive quarters when the international conglomerate posted a net profit was during the March-end quarter of the financial year 2018, where the company reported a net profit of Rs. 944 crores.
