On Thursday, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has posted a 15 percent increase in the domestic sales to 12,801 units last month.
During August last year, the company had sold 11,161 units.
It has said in a statement that in August 2016 the exports, however declined by 10.24 percent to 1,244 units as compared to 1,386 units of a year ago period.
