Unacademy which is an online free learning platform, has raised USD 1 million from the founders of Flipkart and Paytm, Sachin Bansal, Binny Bansal and Vijay Shekaran Sharma, among others.
According to a statement by Unacademy, the second round of external investment was led by Blume Ventures and saw participation from Stanford Angels India, WaterBridge Ventures, FreeCharge founder Kunal Shah, Sandeep Tandon, Ashish Tulsian, Tracxn Labs and along with most of the existing investors.
The company, in April, raised their first round of funding worth USD 500,000 (about Rs 3.35 crore).
