VE Commercial Vehicles has posted a 9.3 percent increase in its total sales at 5,499 units in February.
The company had sold 5,032 units in the same period last year.
The company which is a joint venture between Sweden’s Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has said that the sales of Eicher branded trucks and buses also increased by 9 percent to 5,379 units in February as against 4,936 units in the corresponding month of last year.
VECV has said in a statement that in the domestic market, the sales of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 4,828 units last month as compared to 4,264 units in the year-ago period which is up 13.2 percent.
