PM Modi to Review India-US Strategic Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he would review the India-United States Strategic Partnership with US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. These meetings will take place with the first-ever in-person Quad Leaders Summit ahead of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting.

“The Summit allows taking outcomes of our virtual summit in March and appreciating priorities for future engagements based on our shared vision for the Indo-Pacific region. I will also meet Australian PM Scott Morrison and Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga to hold stock of the strong mutual relations with their respective countries and continue our useful exchanges on local and global issues,” he said.

Modi said he would conclude his visit with an address at the United Nations General Assembly talking about pressing global challenges like the Covid-19 pandemic, terrorism, climate change and other vital issues.
