On Monday, Berger Chairman Kuldip Singh Dhingra said that “We are planning two units in Assam. One under Berger and another British Paints brands”.

He further said that they were yet to sign a pact for land with Assam government, and said  “We will place the proposal with the board shortly.”

Abhijit Roy, the Managing Director of Berger said that the total land will be around 12 acres and investment in the initial phase was expected to be around Rs 60 crore.
