According to media reports, Bollywood playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, was depressed and went backstage to rest during the live performance. The singer also complained about the glare from the lights. He said the car’s air conditioner was cold on the way to the hotel.

KK was pronounced dead, a senior official who was taken to hospital around 10 pm said after complaining of discomfort. Arriving at the hotel after the show, he felt so heavy that he quickly passed out.
