Vande Bharat Train breached the speed of 180 kmh during its trials in Jabalpur on Friday, the test was conducted by the team of RDSO, and during the Oscillation trial, a prototype of Vande Bharat was raked with 16 coaches wherein the train breached the speed of 180 kmh.

There were various phases of trials conducted on the Kota-Nagda railway section. The first phase of the trial was done between Kota and Ghat ka Barana, the second phase was conducted between Ghat ka Barana and Kota. The third phase of the trial occurred between Kurlasi and Ramganj mandi. Three more tests were conducted on the Ramganj Mandi and Kurlasi back and forth.

Vande Bharat is completely manufactured in India; it is a self-propelled engine train having no other separate engine. The train is the most high-tech train equipped with automatic seat chair coaches.
