This week, Essar Oil will close its 4,05,000 barrel per day Vadinar refinery in Gujarat for around four weeks for carrying out the maintenance work.
A company official said, the refinery will be shut for the maintenance job around Friday.
Some units will be upgraded by the company during the planned maintenance shutdown.
Earlier the shut down was planned for middle of 2015, but was put back to September.
