After the company has raised funds up to Rs 1,000 crore through a private placement basis by allotment of 10,000 non-convertible debentures (NCDs), Tata Power Company advanced 1.53% to Rs 209. The redeemable, unsecured, taxable, rated, listed, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on the WDM segment of BSE.

According to the company’s statement, these NCDs will be allotted in two parts with an aggregate amount of Rs 500 crore. On 8 January 2023, series I will mature and on 29 December 2032, series II will mature, having a fixed rate with annual coupon payment.
Tata Power has a managed/ installed capacity of 14,002 MW. Across the entire power value chain, renewable and conventional power generation includes hydro and thermal energy, coal & freight, transmission & distribution trading and logistics.
On a consolidated basis, the net profit soared at 94.32% to Rs 819.09 crore on a 43.02% rise in revenue performance to Rs 14,030 crore in July- September of FY23 over July- September of FY22.
