Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Thursday posted a 3.7 percent hike in the total sales in September at 1,13,759 units compared to1,09,742 units sold in the same month last year.
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement that the domestic sales rose by 6.8 percent during the month to 1,06,083 units compared to 99,290 units in September, 2014.
The company said, including Alto and WagonR, the sales of mini-segment cars rose marginally to 35,570 units against 35,547 units in the year ago month.
Whereas the compact segment sales, comprising Swift, Estilo, Ritz and Dzire increased 3.5 percent to 44,826 units in September this year compared to 43,304 units in the corresponding month last year.
