Suzlon Bags 69.3MW Wind Energy Project from Juniper Green Energy

Suzlon has received a 69.3 MW wind project in Gujarat from Juniper Green Energy.

Renewable energy solutions supplier Suzlon has bagged an order project to develop a 69.3 MW wind power project from Juniper Green Energy.

The project is situated in Surendra Nagar district in Gujarat and is anticipated to be commissioned in 2024, a company report said.

The report stated that Suzlon Group announced on May 2 the second order of the 3 MW product series for the growth of a 69.3 MW wind power project for Juniper Green Energy.

Suzlon Group’s CEO, JP Chalasani, also said they are delighted to broadcast their first order project with Juniper Green Energy Private Limited and second order for the 3 MW sequence.

Suzlon plans to install 22 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower of their new invention with a rated capability of 3.15 MW each.

This is the first key order for the company’s biggest turbine, rated 3.15 MW, S144-140m from the 3 MW series.

According to the agreement, Suzlon will resource the wind turbines (equipment supply) and perform the project comprising erection and commissioning.

Suzlon will also deliver wide-ranging operations and conservation services post-commissioning.

Juniper Green Energy’s CEO, Naresh Mansukhani, said that with over 800 MW of working solar power capacity, the firm hopes to board the wind energy journey with this project and looks forward to creating many more landmark projects for a better future.
