Greenvision Technologies that makes batteries under the Relicell brand expands its footprint in the large African market.
Biju Bruno, the Managing Director of the company said that the African lead acid battery market has huge potential with an estimated growth of 5.3 percent CAGR between 2015 and 2021 on account of growing demand attributed to increase use of lead acid batteries for UPS and inverter systems.
The manufacturing capacity of the company at its manufacturing unit is 100,000 small batteries and 30,000 large batteries per month.
