The Commerce and Industry Ministry is planning for a development of a web portal for information sharing among various stakeholders of startup ecosystem including incubators, venture capital funds and government functionaries.
The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) said that it intends to develop a “web-portal for information sharing and information dissemination” among various stakeholders of among various stakeholders of startup ecosystem including startups, incubators, accelerators, venture capital funds, seed capital funds, angel investment funds and government functionaries.
The department further added that this portal would be integrated with ‘Make in India’ portal. IT application development agency shall also be required to develop a startup ecosystem ‘mobile app’ with relevant back-end competency to register startups, fulfil compliance requirements and facilitate quick exit, it said.
