Swan Defence to Resume Trading on Bourses 

The company was recently rebranded by Swan Energy Ltd following its acquisition.

Shares of Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Ltd., formerly Reliance Naval and Engineering Ltd., will recommence trading on the NSE and BSE starting Monday, 20 January.

The company was recently rebranded by Swan Energy Ltd following its acquisition, with the name change taking effect on 2 January 2025.

The stock will be categorized under the ‘T Group’ of securities, a segment in Indian stock markets that mandates delivery-based transactions. In this category:

  • Every trade requires compulsory delivery of shares from the seller to the buyer.
  • Intraday trading, BTST (Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow), and STBT (Sell Today, Buy Tomorrow) transactions are not allowed.

Swan Energy assumed management control of the company after successfully emerging as the winning bidder during an insolvency resolution process.
