The share price of Rail Vikas Nigam fell by about 3% at the opening session on 11 February, even though the company emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a South Western Railway project worth Rs 355.43 crore.

The project included 790 RKM of the Hubballi and Mysuru Divisions of the South Western Railway and included surveying, planning, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning KAVACH equipment in addition to other associated duties.

The above directive needs to be implemented within 18 months.

On 7 February, the company was given a project worth Rs 210.78 crore by the South Eastern Railway to upgrade the electric traction system from one 25 KV to two 25 KV traction systems for the Kharagpur (Excl.)-Tatanagar (Incl.) section of the Kharagpur/Chakradharpur division of the railway and meet the 3000 MT loading target.

On 4 February, the East Coast Railway forwarded the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a project worth Rs 404.40 crore to the business.

At a board of directors meeting on 12 February 2025, the company’s unaudited financial statements (both standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and nine months ended 31 December 2024 will be reviewed, approved, and documented.

At 12:50 pm, the shares of RVNL were trading 2.82% lower at Rs 370.70 on NSE.
