Elon Musk’s xAI has unveiled Grok3, an AI chatbot designed to revolutionise human understanding with unmatched computational power and creativity. 

Musk highlighted its significant advancements, claiming it’s far more capable than its predecessor, Grok2, in a short period.

The live event attracted nearly 100,000 viewers, and Musk praised the team behind Grok3’s development. 

The name “Grok” is inspired by Robert Heinlein’s sci-fi novel Stranger in a Strange Land, meaning to fully understand something, with empathy being a key element.

Building Grok3 was a significant challenge, requiring xAI to create its data centre and achieve 100,000 operational GPUs in just 122 days. 

Grok3’s creativity was demonstrated when it conceptualised a new game blending Tetris and Puyo Puyo.

Grok3 will receive daily updates, with initial access limited to Premium Plus subscribers on the X platform, offering a “Super Grok” subscription for advanced features.
