NHAI to Build Six-Lane Agra-Gwalior Expressway on BOT Model

The expressway will start at Deori village in Agra and end at Susera village in Gwalior.

State-owned NHAI will develop an 88-km six-lane Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway at a cost of Rs 4,613 crore.

The expressway will start at Deori village in Agra and end at Susera village in Gwalior. It will be built on a Build-Operate-Transfer (Toll) model with a 20-year concession period, including 30 months for construction.

NHAI will provide Rs 820 crore as construction support to the Concessionaire, linked to project progress.

The expressway will pass through Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, enhancing connectivity and easing congestion on NH-44.

It will also improve access between two major tourist hubs and run through the National Chambal Wildlife Sanctuary.
