Shares of BEML Ltd surged 3% on 24 July after the company secured an order worth Rs 293.82 crore from the Ministry of Defence.
In its regulatory filing, the company said, ” BEML has bagged an order from the Ministry of Defence for supply of HMV 6X6 with contract value of Rs 293.82 crores approximately.”
In its meeting on 21 July, the firm board approved the sub-division/split of the current one equity share of face value Rs 10 each, completely paid up, into two equity shares of face value Rs 5 each, fully paid up.
On 18 July, the company received an order from the Ministry of Defence (E-in-C) for the procurement of a bulldozer with a contract value of Rs 185.65 crore.
On 23 June 2025 and 3 March 2025, the share reached a 52-week high of Rs 4,874.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 2,346.35.
At 11:56 am, the shares of BEML were trading 0.91% higher at Rs 4,324.90 on NSE.
