Shares of Radico Khaitan Ltd fell 2.5% after touching a day’s high of Rs 2,915.50 on 13th August, despite the firm announcing a partnership with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, his son Aryan Khan’s D’YAVOL Luxury Collective, and entrepreneur and Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath to launch D’YAVOL Spirits — a new-age alcobev venture focused on premium quality, disruptive design, and cultural resonance.

The collaboration aims to introduce globally sourced, bottled-in-origin products with strong regional character for both Indian and international markets. Backed by Radico Khaitan’s scale and industry expertise, the venture blends innovation with legacy. It targets the next generation of premium spirits consumers.

The first product will be a luxury tequila launching in the coming months. Radico Khaitan’s board has approved acquiring a 47.5% stake in both D’YAVOL Spirits B.V. (Netherlands) and D’YAVOL Spirits Pvt Ltd (India) for up to Rs 40 crore. This acquisition makes it the largest shareholder. The deal also gives Radico Khaitan two of four board seats in each company, including the Chairperson position. It includes strategic rights such as ROFR, tag-along, and pre-emptive rights.

The partnership will handle global marketing, trading, and distribution of premium spirits with luxury tequila as the initial launch. D’YAVOL B.V., established in 2018, reported an average annual revenue of EUR 1.2 million in the past two years. D’YAVOL India was incorporated in August 2025.

Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan said the move combines Radico Khaitan’s blending, marketing, and distribution expertise with the star power of Shah Rukh Khan. It also combines the entrepreneurial drive of Aryan Khan and the disruptive vision of Nikhil Kamath. Shah Rukh Khan added that the venture is about building something bold, relevant, and future-focused.

At 12:25 PM, the shares of Radico Khaitan were trading 2.34% lower at Rs 2,827.70 on NSE.
