Shares of SPML Infra Ltd rose 3% to touch a dayโs high of Rs 309.90 on 19th August, after the company announced that it had bagged a Rs 1,073 crore contract for a water supply project in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
In an exchange filing, SPML Infra said the Indore Municipal Corporation has awarded it a Rs 1,073 crore project under AMRUT 2.0. The contract also includes a 10-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) deal.
Key Highlights of the Project:
- Water Intake & Pumping: Construction of a 1,650 MLD Intake system with a Raw Water Pump House.
- Treatment Plant: A 400 MLD Water Treatment Plant with advanced technology to meet quality standards.
- Transmission Network: Booster pumping stations and 22 km of pipelines (1,200 mm โ 2,337 mm in diameter).
- Power Support: A 132/33 kV substation to back water supply operations.
- Long-Term O&M: A decade-long contract with escalation provisions.
Chairman Subhash Sethi stated that the project will enhance Indoreโs water infrastructure, noting that its unique scope positions SPML Infra among the few global companies capable of delivering such integrated systems.
Last month, the company also secured a Rs 385 crore water supply project in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
At 11:40 AM, the shares of SPML Infra were trading 0.17% lower at Rs 297.45 on NSE.
