An order worth Rs 5 crore has been received by the state-run Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited by the Indian Navy to manufacture and supply four sets of re-transmission units for naval ships.

According to an official release, the order is worth Rs 5.38 crore, it will be executed by the Defence Group of Keltron.

It further added that Keltron is the only indigenous manufacturer for this product and its supplies to the Defence sector help the nation reduce dependence on imports.
