Shares of PNC Infratech Ltd ended 2% higher after hitting a dayβs high of Rs 313.85 on 5th September, following the companyβs announcement that it had emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 495.54 crore construction project in Bihar.
PNC Infratech has received an order from the Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC) to build a high-level bridge and approach road on the Hathouri-Atrar-Bavangama-Aurai Road. The bids were opened on 4th September. The project is expected to be completed in three years.
This comes just three days after PNC Infratech secured another contract from the Airports Authority of India (AAI). They were the lowest bidder for work at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. The Rs 297.01 crore project involves extending and strengthening the runway. It also includes re-carpeting and related works, with completion targeted in one-and-a-half years.
At 3:30 PM, the shares of PNC Infratech ended 2% higher at Rs 311.15 on NSE.
