Shares of Vikram Solar Ltd were trading 3% higher on Monday, 15 September, after the company announced securing an order for 200 MegaWatt (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules from AB Energia, a provider of end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions for commercial and industrial solar projects. 

Vikram Solar stated the modules, rated at 590 watts peak (Wp) or more, will be deployed across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.

The company also stated that it will deliver its advanced M10R N-Type TOPCon modules, which are designed for improved performance, dependability, and higher energy yield. The deliveries are anticipated to begin in September 2025 and continue until early 2026.

Vikram Solar’s chairman and managing director, Gyanesh Chaudhary, said the order indicates AB Energia’s continuous confidence in the company’s technology and performance.  

Last week, Vikram Solar received an order from L&T Construction to deliver 336 MW of high-efficiency solar modules for deployment in Khavda, Gujarat.

The order includes the delivery of Hypersol G12R modules based on N-type technology. These modules have better bifaciality by up to 80%, enhanced performance in high temperatures, and little year-on-year degradation (≤ 0.4%).  

These modules are projected to improve Balance-of-System (BOS) efficiency and reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making solar electricity more affordable and broadly available, according to the business.

Vikram Solar’s June quarter revenue increased by 79.7% to Rs 1,133.6 crore, while EBITDA more than doubled to Rs 242.2 crore. The EBITDA margin for the quarter also increased by approximately 400 basis points to 21.4%.
