Shares of BLS International Ltd skyrocketed 17% on Thursday, 16 October, after the company announced securing a contract from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to develop and run Indian Visa Application Centres (IVACs) in China.
According to an exchange filing, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of the Government of India has awarded BLS International Services a contract to develop and run Indian Visa Application Centres (IVACs) in China.
The three-year contract, which begins 14 October 2025, requires BLS International to establish and manage IVACs in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. These centres will offer applicants streamlined, secure, and customer-friendly visa services.
According to the firm, the new IVACs will have improved infrastructure, innovative technology, and multilingual staff to enable a seamless and speedy visa application process.
“We believe this is a significant milestone for BLS International, and these IVACs will play a vital role in facilitating reliable and user-centric visa services, Shikhar Aggarwal, joint managing director of BLS International Services, said. “We thank the Ministry of External Affairs for its continued trust and confidence in BLS International.”
At 2:48 pm, the shares of BLS International were trading 14.45% higher at Rs 318.80 on NSE.
