Axiscades Unit, French Firm to Build Falcon-Style Drone in India; Shares Drop 5%

Shares of Axiscades Technologies Ltd fell 5% after touching a day’s high of Rs 1,540 on 6th November, even though the company announced that its technology solutions arm has partnered with a leading French firm to introduce E-Raptor drones in India.

AXISCADES Aerospace and Technologies, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies, has signed an MoU with France-based Electronic Bird Control. They aim to bring the E-Raptor — a falcon-inspired drone — to India for military and civilian use.

The E-Raptor combines biomimetic engineering and advanced UAV technology, offering stealth, agility, and strong performance. Designed to resemble a falcon, it aims to improve surveillance and bird control operations across varied terrains. These include defense missions, airport safety, and wildlife management.

Ravikumar Joghee, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer of AXISCADES, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to innovation. It also supports localisation under the Make in India initiative.

Electronic Bird Control CEO Adrien Laffon added that the collaboration marks a major step forward in drone technology and international cooperation. It sets new benchmarks for surveillance and safety in India.

At 1:34 PM, shares of Axiscades were locked in a 5% lower circuit at Rs 1,474.30 on NSE.
