The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading lower by 129 points at 25,498, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Friday. 

Earlier on Thursday, 6 November, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slipped by 148 points or 0.18%, and settled at 83,311, while the Nifty50 traded 0.34% lower or 88 points, closing at 25,510.

Quarterly Results Today: National Aluminium Company, FSN E-Commerce Ventures Nykaa, Bajaj Auto, Hindalco Industries, Aegis Logistics, AstraZeneca Pharma, Divis Laboratories, Power Finance Corporation, Signature Global, SpiceJet, JSW Cement, Kalyan Jewellers, Petronet LNG, Trent, UNO Minda, VA Tech Wabag, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals are some of the prominent companies set to announce their quarterly earnings for July-September.

Rail Vikas Nigam: RVNL secured the lowest bid for a Rs 272 crore contract awarded by Central Railway. The project requires the company to design, supply, erect, test, and commission a 220/132/55 KV traction substation, as well as sectioning posts (SPs) and sub-sectioning posts (SSPs) for the 2×25 KV traction system in the Daund–Solapur section using a Scott-connected transformer setup.

TVS Motor Company: TVS Motor Company signed share purchase agreements with Accel India VIII (Mauritius) to sell 11,997 Series D Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares, and with MIH Investments One BV to sell 10 equity shares and 11,988 Series D CCPS in Roppen Transportation Services (Rapido). The company will receive Rs 288 crore from these transactions.

Maruti Suzuki India: The company announced receiving approval from the NCLT, New Delhi, for the amalgamation of Suzuki Motor Gujarat, its subsidiary, into the parent company.

NBCC India: NBCC India signed a strategic MoU with Goldfields Commercials, an Australian real estate developer, to jointly identify, develop, and execute real estate, housing, infrastructure, and redevelopment projects across Australia.
