Shares of IRB Infrastructure Ltd soared 6% on 17 November after the company secured a Rs 9,270 crore project from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
IRB Infrastructure Trust, the private InvIT of IRB Infrastructure Developers, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the TOT-17 bundle, which covers 366 kilometers of the Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur Corridor on NH-27 and a portion of the Lucknow-Varanasi Corridor on NH-731, for a revenue-linked concession period of 20 years.
Following the TOT-17 project, IRB Group’s project portfolio (including Private and Public InvIT) will include 27 highway projects, including 18 BOT, 5 TOT, and 4 HAM projects.
The company collected a toll of Rs 556.7 crore in September, up 11% from Rs 501.8 crore in the same month last year.
The company’s standalone net profit increased 17.8% to Rs 188.37 crore in September 2025, from Rs 159.89 crore in September 2024.
The company’s revenue increased by 7% to Rs 1,064.72 crore, compared to Rs 993.75 crore last year.
At 1:53 pm, the shares of IRB infrastructure were trading 4.75% higher at Rs 45 on NSE.
