Shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd surged 3% to hit a dayโs high of Rs 238 on 27th November. This came after the firm announced it had secured its second international project from South Africa worth Rs 1,313 crore.
The company said it has won a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a 240 MW AC Solar PV project in South Africa.
With this order, its total EPC inflows for the fiscal year have crossed Rs 5,088 crore.
Sterling and Wilson added that it is now working on four turnkey Solar PV projects in South Africa with four well-known developers. The two projects it secured last fiscal are progressing well. These projects have strengthened its foothold in the region. Meanwhile, the two new orders won in the past two months have further expanded its presence.

At 10:44 AM, shares of Sterling and Wilson were trading 2.22% higher at Rs 230.93 on NSE.
