Shares of Lupin Ltd were trading in the green and almost 2% higher on 17 December after the company received the EIR from the USFDA. 

In its regulatory filing, the company said that on Tuesday, 16 December, it had received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US Food and Drug Administration for its injectable facility in Nagpur, with a satisfactory Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) status.

The US FDA issued the EIR after conducting an inspection at the Nagpur facility between 8 September and 16 September 2025, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Managing Director Nilesh Gupta said Lupin remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across its facilities, with continued focus on strengthening quality systems and operational excellence.

Lupin reported a 73.33% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,477.92 crore in Q2 FY26, compared with Rs 852.63 crore in Q2 FY25. Revenue from operations rose 24.27% to Rs 6,831.43 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2025.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Lupin operates in over 100 markets worldwide and focuses on branded and generic formulations, complex generics, biotechnology products, and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
