Transrail Lighting won Rs 459 crore in MENA transmission orders, pushing FY27 inflows to Rs 1,034 crore, via a June 26 holiday filing.
The MENA region covers the Middle East and North Africa. The contracts are EPC jobs, meaning Transrail handles the full chain of engineering, procurement and construction of high-voltage transmission lines in that geography.
These are not supply-only contracts. The company designs, builds and hands over the infrastructure. With these wins, FY27 order inflows now stand at Rs 1,034 crore. The company is already chasing more.
Transrail Lighting holds L1 status on projects worth around Rs 400 crore. In infrastructure procurement, L1 means the company is the lowest bidder and is typically next in line to receive the formal order. That pipeline adds meaningful near-term visibility on top of what is already booked.
MD and CEO Randeep Narang said the wins reflect the confidence customers place in Transrail’s engineering and execution capabilities, and that the company remains well positioned to sustain its growth momentum with a strong order book and healthy bidding pipeline.
This follows a busy stretch of order activity. A few weeks earlier, Transrail announced contracts worth Rs 575 crore across its T&D, civil construction and pole businesses, including a 500 kV HVDC transmission line project and international supply contracts.
In May, Narang said Transrail entered FY27 with an order book of Rs 16,300 crore and was targeting revenue growth of 20 to 22% for the year, after delivering 30% growth in FY26.
Q4 FY26 was softer. Net profit fell 24% to Rs 96.5 crore and revenue dipped 4.2% to Rs 1,863 crore, which is why execution momentum in FY27 is being watched closely.
