The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 19 points at 24,330, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a mute start on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, 29 July, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared by 889 points or 1.16%, and settled at 77,654, while the Nifty50 traded 1.10% higher or 265 points, closing at 24,250.

NBCC (India): The company has announced signing a a formal agreement with the Government of Seychelles to construct the Ile Aurore Housing Project in Seychelles, valued at $75 million. The project will include 1,008 affordable housing units along with the required supporting infrastructure.
Punjab National Bank: The Board of Punjab National Bank has approved a plan to raise foreign currency funds by establishing a Medium-Term Note (MTN) Programme of up to $1.5 billion. The bank will issue bonds under the programme through its IFSC Banking Unit at GIFT City.
Hirect: The company has secured its first order from the United States for traction motor assemblies, marking the company’s entry into the US market. The company plans to deliver the order during FY27.
