LTM shares hit a day’s high of Rs 4,591.10 on Thursday after announcing a cybersecurity partnership with Chainguard.

Here’s the news behind the move. LTM has teamed up with Chainguard, a company known for securing open-source software, to strengthen its BlueVerse RightLogic platform.

The idea is simple to understand even if the technology behind it isn’t. A lot of modern software is built using open-source components, pieces of code that anyone can use and build on.

That makes development faster, but it also opens the door to security risks if those components aren’t checked properly.

This is where the partnership comes in. Chainguard will help secure open-source components right from the start, while LTM brings its own cybersecurity assessment and risk management tools to the table.

Together, the two companies say this will let businesses keep building software quickly with AI tools, without cutting corners on safety.

Krishnan Iyer, Chief Growth Officer at LTM, said companies today want more than basic vulnerability checks. They want software supply chains they can actually trust.

Chainguard’s CEO, Dan Lorenc, added that many enterprises are moving fast with AI-built software but rarely pause to inspect what’s inside it, and that’s the gap this partnership is meant to close.

This deal adds to LTM’s BlueVerse RightLogic ecosystem, which already works with several cybersecurity partners to cover risks across five areas, including AI, applications, infrastructure, identity and software supply chains.

LTM shares closed at Rs 4,528 on the NSE on Thursday, up 0.49% for the day.
