Waaree Renewable Technologies bags a new Letter of Award for EPC work on a ground mounted solar power project, adding to its order book.

The project has a capacity of 124 MWp, with an AC output of 88 MW. Waaree Renewable Technologies received this award on 10 August, and the company will be responsible for the complete EPC scope, meaning everything from designing the project to procuring equipment and finally building it.

Interestingly, the company has not revealed who awarded the contract. In its filing, it only described the client as one of India’s renewable energy solution companies, without naming the firm or disclosing the financial value of the deal.

The company also confirmed that this is a standard commercial order. There is no involvement of its promoter or promoter group with the entity that gave out the contract, and the deal does not qualify as a related party transaction.

This is not the only project Waaree Renewable Technologies has picked up recently. The company had earlier secured a larger order from Solaris Horizon Energy, a step down subsidiary of its parent company Waaree Energies. This earlier deal covers a bigger 210 MWp project, with 150 MW of AC output, and the timeline stretches out to the 2027-28 financial year

As a company, Waaree Renewable Technologies operates as the EPC arm within the Waaree Energies group. Beyond solar EPC work, it also handles hybrid renewable energy projects, battery storage systems and green hydrogen initiatives, positioning itself across multiple segments of the clean energy space.

On the market front, Waaree Renewable Technologies shares were trading at Rs 911.25, up slightly by 0.29% for the day. Over the past three months, the stock has fallen close to 11.5%, though this latest order adds to its execution pipeline heading into FY27.
