The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 6 points at 24,546, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Wednesday. 

Earlier on Tuesday, 11 August, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 388 points or 0.49%, and settled at 78,154 while the Nifty50 traded 0.46% lower or 112 points, closing at 24,471.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 12 August.

Zydus Lifesciences: Zydus Lifesciences’ subsidiary, Sentynl Therapeutics, has entered into an option and licence agreement with Mereo BioPharma Group for the US commercialisation and global manufacturing rights to Alvelestat for AATD-LD.

BEML: The company has secured an order worth Rs 184.25 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) for the manufacture and supply of fuselage aerostructures for Light Combat Helicopters (LCH).

HG Infra Engineering: HG Infra Engineering has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Department of Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Government of Rajasthan, to operate and manage the ITI Bhiwadi Cluster under Component-I of the PM-SETU programme. The company’s share represents 17.10% of the estimated project cost of Rs 241 crore.

Larsen and Toubro: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has signed a Business Transfer Agreement with its subsidiary Vyoma.AI to transfer its data centre and cloud services business through a slump sale on a going-concern basis. The transaction has a value of Rs 1,400 crore.

KFin Technologies: KFin Technologies has launched Klarity, an Agentic AI solution designed to address two key operational challenges faced by financial institutions: the incorrect acceptance of sophisticated forgeries and the wrongful rejection of genuine customers due to legitimate variations in behavioural signatures.

Diamond Power Infrastructure: The company has secured two orders worth Rs 195.48 crore from Rajesh Power Services to supply 11 kV Medium Voltage (MV) underground power cables for PGVCL projects in Gujarat. The orders cover projects under the State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF) scheme and the System Improvement (Urban Underground) programme, particularly in coastal areas, and will be completed over the next 12 months.
