Mach Travel Solutions Stock Jumps 11% on Q1 Results

Mach Travel Solutions Ltd
Mach Travel Solutions surges after the company reported a sharp jump in June quarter profit.

Mach Travel Solutions shares hit a day high of Rs 190 on the BSE on Thursday, after the company reported a sharp jump in June quarter profit.

The stock opened right at that Rs 190 level, well above Wednesday’s close of Rs 171, as buyers moved in early. It eased off a little as the morning went on but stayed comfortably above the previous close.

The trigger was the company’s Q1 FY27 results, released on Wednesday. Net profit jumped 307% year on year to Rs 6.17 crore, up from Rs 1.52 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations grew even faster. It rose to Rs 144.33 crore from Rs 22.62 crore a year earlier, an increase of around 538%.

EBITDA, including other income, came in at Rs 8.92 crore for the quarter, with a margin of 6.09%.

The company also started reporting Gross Merchandise Value for the first time this quarter, at around Rs 252 crore.

It’s a new disclosure meant to give investors a clearer picture of how much travel business is actually moving through the platform.

Mach Travel Solutions has been shifting away from a business built mainly around MICE, meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions, toward a broader technology led travel platform.

Corporate travel, B2B, leisure and government projects are now adding to that core.

Chairman and Managing Director Amit Bhatia called the quarter ‘an important milestone in MACH’s journey’ toward becoming a diversified travel platform.

By 10:47 am on Thursday, Mach Travel Solutions was trading at Rs 181.90 on the BSE, up 6.37% for the day.
