Amagi Media Labs touched a fresh all-time high of Rs 727 on the NSE on Thursday, climbing nearly 14% following strong Q1 FY27 earnings.
Amagi Q1 FY27 numbers came in strong across the board. Consolidated net profit jumped to Rs 33.91 crore, up from just Rs 3.94 crore in the same quarter last year, a rise of over 760%.
Revenue from operations grew 32.4% year-on-year to Rs 436.88 crore, compared to Rs 330.06 crore a year earlier. There was also a shift on the operating side.
Amagi’s EBITDA turned positive at Rs 29.8 crore for the quarter, against a loss of Rs 1.2 crore in the same period last year, marking a turnaround in the company’s core operating performance.
On the corporate front, the company confirmed that all its Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares and Optionally Convertible Preference Shares have now been fully converted into ordinary equity shares.
This means Amagi no longer has any outstanding preference shares on its books. The board also approved reappointing Baskar Subramanian as Managing Director and CEO for another five year term, starting 1 December 2026.
The stock has had a strong run since its market debut. At Thursday’s peak, it was up 101% from its issue price of Rs 361 and up 129% from its listing price of Rs 317.
As of the last update at 2:25 pm, Amagi shares were holding on to gains, trading at Rs 667.85 on the NSE, up 4.56% for the session.
