D2C home-cleaning startup Scrubsy has raised Rs 27 crore, or around $3 million, in a seed funding round led by V3 Ventures.
The Delhi-NCR-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its product range and strengthen its presence in India’s growing household cleaning market. Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy operates under its parent company, BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd. The brand currently sells foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, footwear and other household surfaces.
The company says its foam-based formulations are designed to stick to dirt and stains, allowing them to work in around 30 seconds and reducing the need for heavy scrubbing. Its products are sold through its own website as well as major online marketplaces.
With the new funding, Scrubsy plans to move into new categories such as car cleaners, laundry care and other all-purpose home-cleaning products. The expansion will allow the company to target more household needs instead of relying on a limited set of cleaning products.
Scrubsy claims that its parent company has recorded 100% year-on-year revenue growth and acquired more than 5 lakh customers within eight months of launch. The startup also says it has remained EBITDA-positive since inception and is targeting Rs 100 crore in annual recurring revenue by FY28.
The funding comes as India’s household cleaning market sees growing demand for specialised products. Rising hygiene awareness, urbanisation and changing consumer habits are encouraging households to move towards branded solutions designed for specific cleaning requirements.
For Scrubsy, the latest fundraising provides capital to broaden its portfolio and reach more consumers. Its next phase will depend on how effectively it converts its early customer base into repeat purchases while expanding into new categories.
