Safe Enterprises has entered the $800 billion home furnishings market, landing its first orders under the EVOLV brand.

The move marks a shift into new territory for Safe Enterprises, which has largely worked behind the scenes for retailers, building shopfitting, display systems and modular fixtures for fashion, footwear, electronics and lifestyle chains.

EVOLV takes that same retail-grade approach and points it at homes instead of stores.

The system is modular by design, so it can be built out into wardrobes, TV units, media units and other storage pieces, all sharing a similar look and feel across a home.

The market it’s entering isn’t small. Mordor Intelligence pegs global home furnishings sales at around $802.5 billion currently, with that figure expected to reach $1.14 trillion by 2030, a growth rate of roughly 6.1% a year.

Two categories inside that market give a sense of the runway: wardrobes are projected to grow from $25.2 billion to $36.7 billion by 2030, and TV units from $12.4 billion to $17.5 billion over the same stretch.

The launch also lines up with a capacity build out already in motion. SERFL’s Ambernath facility is set to be completed by December 2026, pushing the company’s total plant area past 530,000 square feet.

That capacity is meant to back EVOLV as it scales, alongside SERFL’s existing retail business and WAVE, its RFID powered self-checkout platform that already has commercial orders of its own in the retail automation space.

CA Mikdad Merchant, Executive Director and CFO at SERFL, said the move into home furnishings lets the company spread its revenue across a new category while putting its manufacturing capacity to work in a different direction.

Between WAVE and EVOLV, SERFL now has two fresh growth bets running alongside the retail infrastructure business it built its name on.
