NeoGeo Raises $20 Million in Series A Funding

NeoGeoInfo Technologies (NeoGeo) has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Neev II Fund and Aavishkaar Capital, as the geospatial technology company looks to expand its technology platform and enter international markets.

The fresh capital will support research and development, technical capabilities, hiring and the company’s global expansion plans.

Founded in 2019, NeoGeo provides integrated spatial intelligence solutions to government agencies and businesses. Its services cover areas such as urban governance, infrastructure and utilities, natural resource management, disaster management and smart cities.

The company operates across the geospatial technology value chain. It collects location data using satellite imagery, LiDAR, drones and ground surveys, and then processes the information using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The resulting data is converted into software platforms and intelligence tools that can help organisations make decisions around infrastructure, resources and public services.

NeoGeo has already completed more than 200 projects and mapped over 5 lakh square kilometres. It also manages more than 550 continuously operating reference stations (CORS), which provide high-precision positioning data used in surveying and mapping applications.

The startup has developed several proprietary platforms for specific use cases. These include solutions for fleet and network optimisation, natural resource management, urban planning and infrastructure asset management. The company is increasingly focusing on turning geospatial data into recurring software and intelligence services rather than relying only on data collection projects.

NeoGeo plans to use the new funding to deepen its product portfolio, increase R&D investments and strengthen its technical team. A significant part of the capital will also support expansion into international markets, particularly the Middle East and the Americas, where the company sees opportunities for its spatial intelligence solutions.
