Blue Cloud Softech partnered with Mahesh Babu Foundation to launch GMB Life, a contactless smartphone wellness screening app.
The app went live on August 31 on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It runs a contactless wellness scan in under a minute, using nothing more than a smartphone camera.
No wearable device, no medical equipment. It reads heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, heart rate variability, stress index, cardiac workload, body mass index and vascular age.
BluHealth, the technology powering the app, is registered with the US Food and Drug Administration and carries endorsements from the Indian Medical Association and the Commonwealth Medical Association.
Blue Cloud has been upfront that these readings are for general wellness awareness, not clinical diagnosis. The company disclosed the partnership to stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s listing rules.
There is no shareholding or related-party transaction attached to it. Blue Cloud brings the technology, while the Foundation, started by actor Mahesh Babu and led by Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni, brings its outreach network across healthcare, education and rural development work.
What comes next is a set of physical kiosks. Blue Cloud and the Foundation plan to install BluHealth-enabled kiosks at locations where the Foundation already runs health camps, pairing the smartphone scan with a local doctor either on site or over a video call.
Cases that need more care get referred to partner hospitals. Locations and a rollout date are still being worked out. This isn’t the only announcement Blue Cloud made this week.
On August 24, its board approved evaluating a full buyout, up to 100%, of CareTech AI Inc, a US healthcare workforce platform, through a share-swap deal. That’s still non-binding, pending due diligence and shareholder sign-off.
The same day, the company confirmed it had begun service delivery under a contract with SpaceX International, covering AI infrastructure, data centre work, cybersecurity and telecom through its US arm.
The numbers behind all this: Blue Cloud closed FY26 with consolidated revenue of Rs 1,002 crore, up 26% year-on-year.
In the June quarter of FY27, revenue climbed 41.87% year-on-year to Rs 292.53 crore, and net profit rose 24.74% to Rs 17.95 crore.
The company now operates in nine countries, spanning AI, digital infrastructure, telecom, cybersecurity and healthcare technology.
