B2B fleet management startup Carrum Mobility has raised $10 million, or around Rs 96 crore, from Uber in its latest funding round.
The investment marks Uber’s second bet on the startup this year and takes Carrum’s post-money valuation to around Rs 1,600 crore. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand into new cities, strengthen its technology and scale its operations.
The latest investment comes after Uber backed Carrum with $7 million in January 2026. With the new funding, Carrum has raised around $17 million from Uber across the two rounds. The continued investment highlights the growing relationship between the two companies as Carrum expands its role in managing vehicles and drivers for ride-hailing operations.
Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum provides technology-led fleet management services to businesses. Its platform helps manage vehicles, driver availability, fleet utilisation and vehicle uptime. The startup currently operates around 5,100 vehicles across six cities, showing a significant increase in scale since its January funding round.
Carrum will use the latest funds to enter more cities, improve its technology platform, expand its team and increase the size of its fleet. A key focus will also be scaling Uber Black, the premium ride category, as demand for organised fleet services continues to grow in India’s mobility market.
The startup’s model is aimed at solving some of the major challenges faced by ride-hailing companies, including vehicle availability, driver management and keeping cars operational. By handling these functions, Carrum allows mobility platforms and fleet owners to focus more on customer demand and ride operations.
The latest funding also comes as India’s ride-hailing industry is becoming more organised, with companies increasingly relying on technology and professional fleet operators to improve service quality. Carrum’s expansion could therefore help it strengthen its position in the B2B mobility ecosystem.
With Uber continuing to back the company, Carrum is now looking to use its latest capital to scale beyond its existing markets and build a larger technology-driven fleet management network across India.
